Chandigarh, 2024 – Chandigarh Design School Founder Vineet Raj Kapoor conducted an engaging Corporate Design Thinking workshop for Circulants USA, catering to their Pune and Jaipur teams. The workshop brought together over 40 employees in a hybrid format, with the Pune team participating in person and the Jaipur team joining virtually via Zoom. Circulants, a prominent IT solutions provider based in California, has collaborated with Vineet Raj Kapoor and Virtualsoft in the past for various international projects, leveraging his expertise as their Design Principal.
A Hands-On Design Thinking Experience
Vineet Raj Kapoor, a leading figure in the design industry as the Indian IDT Lead Expert for WorldSkills, and Founder of SXILL and Chandigarh Design School, shared his excitement about conducting the session:
“This workshop was a fantastic opportunity, marking our first offline corporate training in Design Thinking post-COVID. We focused on addressing real-world challenges by combining human-centric approaches with business objectives. My experience as a practitioner and trainer of UX Design and Design Thinking since 2014 has revealed a significant gap between theory and practice in India—even in top institutes. Hence, the workshop emphasized problem finding, developing user personas, and building solutions through steps like user journey mapping and concept design.”
He further added: “Don’t worry—everything we covered will be part of my upcoming book, SOLVXD: Think in Steps, which will be out soon.”
